1. Story about the Baileys Espresso Martini

This cocktail is a slight twist on the original Espresso Martini. This is usually mixed with coffee liqueur and vodka. But since the third component is a freshly brewed espresso anyway, we decided to replace the coffee liqueur with another ingredient. And this is:

Baileys our creamy, chocolaty, Irish alternative!

Baileys, the creamy cream liqueur with fine chocolate extracts gives the espresso martini a sweet, delicious kick and is therefore ideal as a liquid dessert after dinner.

Espresso Martini is the invigorating and calming cocktail at the same time!

Storytelling:

The discoverer of this delicious, special cocktail is called Dick Bradsell and he invented this drink in London around the eighties. The story was actually pretty simple. According to the story, one evening a model sat at his counter and asked for a cocktail with the following words:

“I want something to wake me up and f*** me up!”

After a moment's consideration, Bradsell mixed espresso and vodka together with a caramel coffee liqueur over ice in a shaker and served the lady this drink in a pre-chilled martini glass. She really liked the cocktail, so Bradsell immediately put it on the menu.

The ingredients haven't changed much to this day.

2. You need these utensils

Here, too, you can choose the contents of our cocktail box.

Even if the cocktail has nothing to do with the actual martini, the tradition of the cocktail reserves the right to still use a martini glass. Let's be honest - the Baileys Espresso Martini looks absolutely delicious in the martini glass! We use high-quality Leonardo martini glasses in our cocktail box.

You need this to serve the cocktail chilled. Since the Baileys Espresso Martini is served without ice, the cocktail shaker is ideal for cooling down the Baileys Espresso Martini.

In order to measure the liquids correctly, a bar measure is required to adhere to the specifications.

You still need an espresso-capable coffee machine and ice cubes for the espresso martini

4. Recipe

Step 1:

Place your martini glass in the ice compartment to serve the Baileys Espresso Martini ice-cold later.

Step 2:

Take your shaker and fill it in this order, first with 15 ml of your chosen syrup, then with 50 ml of the Smirnoff Vodka and finally with 100 ml of Baileys Irish Cream.

Step 3:

Now the shaker must be filled to the brim with ice cubes for shaking.

Step 4:

Now you brew an espresso with your coffee machine and then fill it into the shaker, even if the espresso is still hot.

Step 5:

Now you have to shake the shaker diligently. As soon as the shaker is icy and the shaker is almost too cold to hold in your hand, the Baileys Espresso Martini has the ideal consistency

Step 6:

Now get your martini glass out of the ice compartment and pour the cocktail into the glass without ice cubes.

Step 7:

For decoration, place three coffee beans on the cocktail and take a caramel candy, which you cut slightly so that you can hang it on the edge of the cocktail glass.

Step 8:

Now enjoy your absolutely delicious Baileys Espresso Martini.

Cheers!
